Virgin Experience Days is supporting resourceful Britain this festive season by extending its range of “discovery” gift experiences.
As “made for me” hand crafted goods are now the new luxury, Virgin Experience Days has sourced a range of workshops and activities to give customers the opportunity to try out new crafts and skills to develop hidden talents.
Have a crack at the NEW Glass Making Taster Day (£99) or sniff out the design your own perfume workshop (£95). Green-fingered friends will appreciate the Garden Design Day (£79) or if you prefer to bring the garden indoors there’s a Flower Arranging Workshop (£80). If you know anyone who’d like to tip their cap at Hat Making, there’s a workshop for just £75. Or click on Photography Courses to develop new skills (£75).
Help the Strictly Come Dancing fan in your life find their own twinkle toes with Dancing Lessons at the Karen Hardy Studio (£109 for two), or maybe a Belly Dancing experience for the more adventurous (just £19)!
There’s also a recipe for extending culinary talents in all directions from Cupcakes and Macaroons to African and Thai Cookery workshops, Chocolate Making and Fish Cookery classes.
Virgin Experience Days Marketing Director, Chris Smith, said:
”This year we’ve seen a massive trend towards experiences that allow people to try out new skills in a fun and interesting way. The national sway towards hand made and hand crafted goods has encouraged people to develop new talents and become more creative. An experience class or workshop is a great way of trying out a new craft or technique before investing in the long term.”
